We were just taking a ride to kill some time and happened upon the restaurant. Nice local bar vibes. I had the grouper sandwich and my lady had the triple tail sandwich both blackened and both on garlic bread at the bartender’s suggestion. Delicious, fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection, both served with a generous portion of fries. Had a couple light local beers, served in an iced mug frosty and delicious. Thought the food was very reasonably priced, service was great. Would 100% recommend. Best dinner of the vacation!

Neat little spot, with ice cold beer and hefty lunch portions. Friendly service too!

So happy with our experience at this restaurant for a table of 8! We were seated quickly for a late lunch on the island. Staff was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the grouper sandwiches, burgers, impossible vegetarian burger and the fish platter. Everything was served hot and was really good. We arrived via boat after a day on the water. The boat slips are very well maintained. The bait shop next to the restaurant was also a great addition to the experience

A pleasant drive to the end of the island, culminating with a visit to the lazy flamingo. A great place for a lazy afternoon to enjoy ice cold beer and perfectly prepared fish. On this day, the special was triggerfish, which we enjoyed on a salad, as we also had the grouper sandwich. To whet our appetites, we started with a conch chowder that was nice and spicy which was just right. The service is one of the best parts of coming here as they wait on you with a cheery smile. Your glass is never empty and your order is placed quickly to be served hot and fresh. Good times. #stevensleavin

Amazing little restaurant with awesome food, views and service. We drove the boat there. We found easy boat docking. The docks are really nice and we felt save leaving the boat while we dined. We were greeted right away and given a choice of a table or a booth. We were a party of 5 . Server greeted us quickly and was very friendly and efficient. 3 of us ordered chicken tenders. We found out from hostess they ran out and brought back menues so we could reorder when the waitress arrived. I switched to a chicken grilled sandwich with hot buffalo sauce. It was amazing. I was happy I changed my order. I had it with the side salad and would definitely order it again. My husband had the blackened grouper sandwich. He said it was one of the best he had had. Ryan switched his order to the hot wings and said they were the best he ever had. Everyone was very happy and excited to return again soon. All the employees acted like we were visiting their home with that warm hospitality. Loved it there. Came back again after the 2 back to back hurricanes. Happy to see the restaurant did well and food was amazing as always. Service was terrific. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with Buffalo sauce on the side it was amazing.

Absolutely LOVE Lazy Flamingo ... 1st learned about this restaurant on Sanibel Island. It was fabulous but unfortunately it hasn’t reopened since HURRICANE IAN... but thankfully there’s still Fort Myers and Bookelia... love Bookelia location at Four Winns Marina... definitely recommend.. recommend the Mesquite Grilled Grouper Sandwich...

I visit often and have yet to find a place in the surrounding areas that matches their blackened grouper platter. We get it with the Caesar Salad and it is absolutely delicious, filling and still feels light on the belly. Their raw oysters are delicious as well. They serve their oysters with horseradish, a cocktail type sauce, saltines and lemon. We put all of it on there and threw a little malt vinegar and it was delicious. Will visit again most definitely next time we are in the area!

They allow dogs on the patio outside, my pup even got a fresh bowl of ice water which is just so nice. Blackened chicken sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. Seasoning is great but it was a nice big piece of chicken breast! My favorite restaurant on the island!
